Mimi Chakraborty has urged her fans to remain positive amid this ongoing lockdown situation in the country. The government has extended the lockdown in the country till May 3 to combat the further spread of the virus. The pandemic has claimed lakhs of lives across the globe. 

Taking to her official Instagram, the Tollywood fashionista has posted a video and said, “Stay positive, reflect and reconnect - that's what I urge you to do during this lockdown. For me, the time I am getting to spend with my Chickoo and Max is absolutely blissful!”


She has been actively spreading awareness among the people and requesting fans to remain home for their safety.

On the work front, Mimi will be next seen in Dracula Sir opposite Anirban Bhattacharjee. Directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, the film is about a primary school teacher who is mostly called as Dracula Sir because of his different teeth structure. How he get this name is the film all about. Mimi Chakraborty is playing his love interest.


Mimi will start shooting her next film Khela Jawkhon. The film is being directed by Arindam Sil and has Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role.
